Looking at your pic, is it just me or the cable tips going inside the headphones are not fully in? I did the same mistake with mine (brand new) because there is a serious resistance when you insert them, you have to click them in place / push a bit hard to insert the entire rod. Might also be that that's how the cable (forza audioworks?) was designed (leaving a bit of gap).

Hi there, it’s how the cable is designed, I had the same visual effect on other headphonesLooking at your pic, is it just me or the cable tips going inside the headphones are not fully in? I demoed liric last week. Today I have it on my head. Love at first sight and sound.
The only downside I find is that I am afraid to take them out. Anyone else feeling like that?

Yes. Keeping them pretty has been a top concern, to the point I wrapped my headphone stand in leather to prevent the cups (which will not sit flush) from turning and scuffing. I have used them in the backyard and at Starbucks but man, I am babying them.I demoed liric last week. Today I have it on my head. Love at first sight and sound.

These are deceptively power hungry to sound their best. The 320MaxTi is a good match!

Just out of curiosity, do you mean portable as in:Lotoo PAW 6000 + Cayin C9 + Meze Liric makes for a great portable setup.
1) I can move it around the house easily or take to work.
Or
2) I can put the whole package in a bag and use them on the go?

It's mostly the first one (as in I can move it around the house easily or at work) but the second one is a possibility, depending on how much extra gear you are willing to carry. I do find the Liric not the most easy to carry around (it doesn't fold like those DCA headphones after all).Just out of curiosity, do you mean portable as in:

Hello,
New Liric owner here. I have a silly question: Does your Liric headband yokes flex near the attachment points of the ear cups?

Mine is also brand new (few days close to a week old) and I tried to flex it and mine was fine. Sturdy, no flex, no sounds.Hello,
