@RockStar2005 I'm not sure how to describe it exactly, but let me try. When listening to the HE400S, certain sounds, like cymbals, on certain songs, didn't sound natural. They sounded a bit choppy and not coherent. Just not very natural and realistic. There's some sparkle to a point, but not extended into higher frequencies. Nothing like the sparkle you would hear in a pair of even low end Grados IMO. The HD 598 have a more natural, consistent, and realistic treble IMO.
And so you know, I'm a picky person. By no means do the HE400S sound terrible in the treble. Most people won't mind and may not even notice.
