Well regardless of the fact that most of the replies so far have been from Meelectronics shills who are unable to read a post before replying my post has had more than 100 reads allready on this site alone.  If the shills that replied had bothered to read the post before commenting they would read that I have had many good products from Meelectronics.  All their customer service needed to say to me was please return for a refund.  They would have kept me as a customer and avoided the negative reviews.  It is the replies that I received from their customer service that is the real problem.  I could care less about the very poor quality of the cable/cord that came with this particular pair of earphones.  As a matter of fact I have thrown them in the garbage where they belong.  For you shills that think you know so much about cable noise I have several pairs of earphones that I have purchased from Meelectonics that have no cable noise whatsoever

anywho... it's clear we need to conduct a show trial with ljokerl and clieos on the stand..you know lots of yelling, people in cages, interrogation and torture until they denounce their knowledge and acknowledge that they have been shills all along

Ok, ignoring the rudeness and personal insults, I still don't understand the point you are making. Are you seriously mad at MEElec for attempting to solve your problem first instead of simply giving you a blanket response and refunding your money? I called up MEElec and asked for the original customer service log from your request. Needless to say I am not allowed to post it here but it seems they made a number of reasonable suggestions in an attempt to solve your problem and also explained why the R1 has more cable noise than the other models. You chose to quote only one of the suggestions and flame them without putting in any effort to follow through. You also did not ask for a refund in your response to their email, choosing instead to threaten them with negative reviews. Seems you were just looking for a fight there, same as here.

That's 99 people who think you need to chill and/or grow up, plus yourself.

I think that dude might work for Skullcandy or one of the other value phone makers. Smells like the old "reverse shill" strategy, or something like that.

Someone like that would actually know better (at least I hope so) than to try to fool this community. Honestly I feel for the OP other than the fact that instead of being refunded, they opt to attempt to destroy the name of the company they seem to have some allegiance to.

@Bob: lol

it's clear we need a mediator. I nominate zachbob the saint (bobsayshi) who happens to also be my mentor and muse.

Microphonics is pretty normal, even I, an IEM newbie know about it. My Altec Blackbeat has a braided cord and the microphonics are atrocious when it rubs with the shirt. when I use it at the gym I have to use it behind the ear and with the cord slider to the chin (must look uber ridiculous, not as much as OP but still laughable)

I was not offered a solution at all except ridiculous suggestions like "wear the cable under your shirt so it will not make so much cable noise"

Awesome first 3 posts - I read them each THRICE. Instead of accusing those who are actually trying to help, I recommend that you go ahead and post your negative review as a counter to all the "shills". I am sure it would be as epic as your first three posts and get much more than 100 views
