I don't think it matters. Being a repeat customer in no way entitles someone to unreasonable demands. It was the OP's decision to try and make the matter public in an attempt to damage the company's reputation. I thought he may have had some semblance of a point until I saw the full response from MEElec.

I dunno, I think we've probably pried enough.  Shouldn't really be asking companies for transcripts of such things anyway...but still, I do think the OP is a bit of an idiot for all of this.  But this has been said enough, I don't think saying it any more will help anything but perhaps our own egos.

Agreed. I said it wasn't worth pursuing if the info wasn't already at hand for this reason. Even as quoted, there's nothing wrong with Meelec's response unless they were unwilling to continue to help which is not their style.

I know this an old dead thread, but I just wanted to add in case people, like me, are googling this company to see how good or bad it is.

I just recently purchased something from them and had an issue, my experience with their customer service was great.  As customers, we must also be fair to the companies and understand there are certain limits to what a company can or cannot do.  They did everything I could reasonably ask for.  There is no doubt they will be on the top of my list when looking for more headphones in the future because I feel secure that they will take care of me.    I don't mean this in a way to discredit the op's experience, but if bad experiences are going to be made public then its only fair that good experiences are too.
