I just ordered my Matrix m-stage and cant wait for it to get here.  I believe it will push my new Denon 5000's just perfectlly (I hope). 
 
Has anyone used the Matrix m-stage with the 5000's.

I use it with the D7000 on the 10 gain setting and it easily drives them and has good synergy.

I imagine if the matrix has the power to amp the k701's to reasonable levels I doubt it will have any troubles with anything else. I may be wrong but thats according to other reviews here on head-fi!!

congrats you will be pleased,   u can make them bump if you add some gain, but also  the m stage is nice with no gain for your sensitive denon if you want to listen at low volumes.  ive noticed that on some amps the denon can be much too loud  monitoring for long periods.
