I held off on these for a long time. Are they still worth a purchase at the current price or did anything overtake them in price/performance?
Its not the metal filter, the cloth filter is different, some are less dense (easy to see, just look at them through some light, you can see that some let in more light than others). No clue if the filters are the same material = same density, but they are the same physical dimensions it seems. So with all these tinkering you guys did, how does the stock nozzles affect the frequency response?
Is it the cloth, the metal grill or could it be the density of the nozzle itself? Or Is it something else?

They are still outstanding, I haven’t found one that beats them anywhere near the price point.I held off on these for a long time. Are they still worth a purchase at the current price or did anything overtake them in price/performance?

Late for the train???
Don’t existHi guys, can you recommend me some cables with good quality in line mic? Tried a few from aliexpress but mic sound quality on the other end is bad.
Thanks
I was on this for a long time and still love it, just lately I've been feeling Gold Monitor for a little more laid back signature. I'll probably crave the extra detail and clarity and switch back to Black Monitor eventually, it's by far gotten the most listening time out of all the combos for me.LZ A7 still continues to amaze me from all the options I liked the Black-Monitor the most. It's easily the best option in the $300 range in my opinion.
