I tried every tip included, and some others.  The **** 4in1 units, in my opinion, are very heavily v shaped. Fine if that is what you want.  I found them bad enough to send back to China.

Who knows if they will get there or if I will get a refund.  It costs $14 US to ship; and another $14 to get tracking at USPS.  So I did not purchase tracking.
they are but I've found my best success with comply foam and JVC spiral dot in taming the treble.

Yup.  Treble sensitive I am.  Fortunately my LZ-A2 units are very smooth and I am hoping to eventually pick up another pair from LZ.

Which ones...A3/S A4 ?

I was speaking more on a generic sense.   LZ really got my attention with the A2.   So looking forward to other developments over time.  So far there is no clear agreement that follow on units hands down beat out the original LZ A2.

Well I felt the A3/S did, especially when things got complex,A2 could be muddy.
A2S only one I have not heard...

A2 killer for the money, and the ones that switched me on to the hybrid sound.

Been missing having a set of LZs for that sweet house sound after I let my 3 and 3S go.
