Hifiman r2r2000

Hifiman r2r dap

I briefly auditioned both and feel they are very very different. Both are very transparent in a natural way, but the Hifiman sounds much more raw and aggressive whereas the Lp6 sound super smooth and analog. The one I have listened to was the gold one, so I am not sure whether the silver titanium one is different.

Me too , with Hifiman it will depend on which iem/headphone you use. I used headphones with plenty of bass so different.

I've had so many bad comments on Facebook about this review. Of course all of people who have no experience with L&P and have never listened to the unit before. But I guess that's people nowadays....

Just kidding. But seriously what's up with people?

I have to admit that despite the price, I would still buy it. It sounds better than any source I have listened to. Easily.

I demoed it over 8 times. On certain styles of music I can tell this daps magic. On other styles of music it doesnt have the magic. The Hifiman R2R sounded really close to the Ti.

Thanks for the insightful review.
Not many people have the chance to audition this DAP.

Did anyone compare LP6/ti with the LP5 199/Ultra? Am curious how they differ in sound signature. Thanks.

How would you compare this with N8? I know it has different sound signature but which would you prefer?
Well both are great daps , but I prefer the N8. If I only listened to soft slow music then its closer.

But their availability makes me nervous. I hate to drop 7k AUD on a dap that I can potentially not have a future support.
They need to fix their global distribution right.
