I'm still confused. So there's a AD5790 version, a AK4414 version, and a R2R version? Or is R2R a gimmick (like how Hifiman called their PCM1704 dap "R2R2000") that simply refers to one of the AD or AKM chip?

It might be to late to do this but any chance you can add a USB-C port. Almost all the players released this year have this as a standard.

This dap has gotten my attention like no other dap before. Problem is communication with LP is horrible. Last thing I want is buying a potentially 5 k brick if I can’t get the help I want down the line.
