LP still primarily uses its official Weibo microblog for disseminating information. Hence, the rollout within China was pretty orderly. The WeChat group was not the issue really. In any event, there is still a WeChat group. I recall it was a customer service person you dealt with at first instance. It surprised me. Hence, I reached out to check. And of course they corrected that misunderstanding.I remember now the impression was based on getting told by LP official that it was only limited to China. I was told it was only locally initially, and LP later decided to also include their overseas customers.
The way it was roll-out was very strange and unprofessional. I believe there was a lot of internal confusion from LP, mostly resulted from WebChat group. Thee WeChat group was terminated not long ago, not sure what the official reason truly was, but if I was now give my impression, and yes this is impression, it would be due to various miscommunication taking place based on the WeChat group.
LP needs a proper public relation guy for their overseas market, it is really messy.
As LP grows in its journey and having more international customers, I am sure the time will come for their marketing department to improve coverage of the international market. At this time, I believe they will continue to leverage off their international distributors like Jaben SG where @Uncle Wilson is and MusicTeck.

One thing for sure anyone dealing with uncle Wilson, will have his customer service treatment. I remember the first time I met him in Sydney hifi show, a true gentleman. I thank saw him over half a decade later, still the same genleman.
@Kiats with all due respect, I will disagree with you, one should not hear from dealers, or distrbutors, as they are no an official voice of the company, but merely a tempory partner of the brand. The brand itself needs to do that, and they need to decide whether they want to do that in a way that is international (not weibo, or Wechat).
If LP things their bread and butter is their local market, so be it, if not, than they would benefit in finding better way to speak more globally.

Well, as I have said, it is part of their growth journey. This is just the interim stage that they are at.
I am really not understanding about this "pentiometer" upgrade. Ti99 was just released recently so why didn't LP just include the fix at release? Does anyone know if we can get this done through Musicteck or contact LP directly for upgrade?
The potentiometer upgrade is for the LP6, not the P6Pro.
Oh really? Tks for your clarification.

Something that came in today. And something does not pop up often: the LP6 Plantinum Japanese Edition which had a limited run of 20 units only. This was tuned for ACG for the Japanese market and so only has Japanese UI.

The folks at Luxury & Precision just shared with me some more materials.
Hi Kiat, thanks for this. Could you remind us what the E line philosophy is? How does it compare to the LP line? There is a new post on the Luxury & Precision official Weibo blog, explaining the reasons for the delay in the release of the E7 and details of the fine-tuning and other work on the E7: https://card.weibo.com/article/m/show/id/2309404991835108933915?id=2309404991835108933915

No worries. From what I understand, the LP series remains the flagship range using R2R DACs while the E series utilises DS DACs.Hi Kiat, thanks for this. Could you remind us what the E line philosophy is? How does it compare to the LP line?

Jaben Singapore has also posted on their blog on the E7: https://www.jaben.com/blogs/news/240119-lp-e7
We have got this update from LP last night as well. We should be able to get the demo in the first week of February. We will update our impressions here if we don't have a new separated thread for E7 by then.
Stay updated on MusicTeck at their sponsor profile on Head-Fi.

Having a listen to the LP6 Platinum JP Edition on a rainy evening near the Equator. Spdif in from the iBasso DX300. With the FitEar EST, paired with the Brise SC 4W cable. Warms the spirits on a dull and dreary day…
