You are right. Head-fi is a place for fun, not politics.
BTW, how is the MP145? Ordered a pair yesterday. Was about the order the Fiio FT3 32 Ohm but changed my mind… haha
Stellar. I was worried it was over-hyped, but I swap between them and my Neo 5 every day depending on my mood for genre. The planar in this reminds me of the Audeze house sound timbre/tonality. it is really something.

Also, it is freakin huge. if you have small ears, just run.

I believe I have average ears😊
If they are better then my 1more Penta P50 I will be satisfied. Very satisfied. The Penta’s rock and give me the feeling of a <300,- endgame IEM.

Hmm not familiar with those, unfortunately. I feel the same with my current collection though. No real reason to upgrade right now.

I started this hobby in januari this year so I am kind of late to the party but if you see the amount of headphones and IEM’s I used/tried/sold this year it is kinda amazing. I am curious where 2024 will lead me to…

Financial ruin is a very big possibility in this hobby! :astonished:

Bought this NiceHCK blacksoul cable with the Yincrow RW3000 to use the Nicehck coupon to bring the price down and I am a bit disappointed with the quality. The heat shrink was not done properly and the skin of the wire itself is hmmm...far from appealing. Sound wise I think it's quite bright and the scene is set a little far from the ear and not very good for imaging but that's without any burn-in. I will likely get the plug upgrade but the golden grips and splitter are definitely quite interesting.

It's a common problem with non-twisted/braided wire. When the heat shrink tube got heated up some parts got heated up first so there is no gap for the air to escape and they didn't do it well enough in a single direction.

I agree, there are some shortcomings in workmanship but, overall, the price is relatively low for such a product. I have a small collection (this is part of the photo), overall I’m happy with everything, this is honestly just my opinion, not everyone likes them :)

I think their build quality is usually allright but it's easier to get into issues with coaxial wires like the blacksoul's. Why do you have multiple copies of the same cables?
