Low end. Cheap. Generic. Otherwise bang for buck cable thread!

What's the pros and cons of these cables? (sorry, could find direct comparisons)

NiceHCK C16-1
(I like the look)

NiceHCK RedAg 4N
(I like braided cables)

XINHS 8 Core Silver Red Mixed 5N
(Cheapest)
The first one is great and I have used it, it is not doing anything different than other Silver plated cobber cables. Instead of having 4 or 8 wires it has 16 smaller ones, end result is close to the same.

Red Ag is a low end silver cable, not sure if its worth it since its so cheap. Another that is good but copper is

Also for the last one. its an okay silver plated copper similar to the first one but 8 wires instead of 16.

I do hope the MixPP will be as good as my ISN C2, just not a fan of the pvc blue look. It should arrive tomorrow or day after, can give some impressions back before the sale ends.

This cable is not using PVC, but some yarn, likely polyester or polyamide. That is why I ordered it today (together with two more cables - great price of NiceHCK, no cases though).
The fit, feel and colour of cables are an important part of psychoacoustic perception and audiophile enjoyment :)

What's the scoop on these? Decent? In the market for a 4.4 MMCX.

I just order the 7hz legato and I'm looking for a mic cable.

Everywhere I go for advice most people really only talk about the sound quality of each cable and just mention "it's ok" for the mic and nothing more.
I looked at kinera gramr but it's a bit expensive for me and it's not that portable.

Which cheap 0.78mm cable has the best microphone out there?

Also is there any way I can make my own cable using a mic from an apple earbud which is one of the better mics I've tried out there?

Tripowin, NiceHCK, XINHS and ivipQ all do reasonably priced 2 pin cables with mic. Go to their respective stores and search "microphone". XINHS and ivipQ will let you customize cable which is handy if you want a longer cable for desktop use or a right angled jack for portable devices. You'll either have to trawl through customer reviews or see if you can find a comparison thread/video/article. I think ZPOLT did a YouTube video on this a while ago, and I have seen this topic brought up in threads before (here or reddit). :L3000:

So I saw zpolt video about comparing mics but it does not compare cables, just mics that come with IEMs and he also has apple earpods at the top as the best mic.
So I think I'll sometime try to remove the apple earpods mic and try inserting it into a 5$ 0.78mm mic cable.
Hmm.. on second though the QKZ VK4 that are second place are cheap and I might buy them just for the mic cable

I'd check customer reviews. People only buy mic upgrade cables where they have a specific use for the mic. Reviews aren't going too be good if the item fails at it's primary purpose. Cables also tend to receive a bit of abuse and all those manufacturers produce sturdy, well made cables with good strain relief. A splitter and a separate mic would be another option if you wanted best quality sound, but that would push the price up. It really depends on your specific use case. :L3000:
