What an elegant, snappy, well-built and beautiful little device this is. Loving it so far...and I haven't really gotten into the sound yet.

That OS is amazingly fast! I like to put my earphones in, then hit the power button and see if I can plug in my earphones and tap the screen before the player has booted up. I never beat it. Most of the time I'm still fumbling with the plug while the LPGT is patiently waiting for me.

Wait for a 30-40 hour burn in and details will really start coming out.

Also don't forget about the TagScanner program to help bulk edit your music files so the Lotoo can sort and read music files without any issues.

It has a healthy amount of setting options. Stuff like, you can change the direction of volume wheel to increase loudness going clockwise or counterclockwise. Or, enable double-tap the display to turn the screen on. Different fixed Line out voltages or a variable LO. And so on.

That double-tap to turn on the screen thing is such a nice feature to have. Definitely makes late-night, half-asleep navigation easier.

I think the screen flipping when you flip the device was an awesome add when I saw it was added by firmware.

I can't get over how much quality this thing radiates from top to bottom, inside out. It's the first DAP I've used form a SEAsian company that approaches Sony/Apple levels of build quality/user experience...except in sound quality where it nukes both of them.

Will the Lotoo daps make use of artistsort and albumsort tags when viewing artist and then their albums?

Don’t forget that you can even flip the interface orientation so that it is a bit more pocket friendly!

Can you give more info on tagscanner program this is the first I've heard of it

Read back a few pages or so, it helps edit music files in bulk more specifically the image resize and file renaming scheme. This helps a a lot for the Lotoo.

One of my favorite things about the PAW S1 is its totally black background. The PAW 6K has this through its bal out but there there is definitely some hiss out of the SE...much more than through my n6ii + E01 combo.
