I need 5 Watts into 16ohms single ended, the 789 doesn't come close to that. The Schiit Asgard 3 does it but looks to have more of a warm tonality, I want a stark neutral tonality that can achieve that power.

Is there anything on the market that does this for about the same cost as the 789?

I own the Spirit Torino Twin Pulse in your avatar. You saying the drop 789 is not powerful enough for its sensitivity? I wish Spirit Torino would release the sensitivity information on their models.

The 789 and 888 are only 6 Watts into 16ohm balanced, they are half of that single-ended. I don't have any balanced cabled headphones (and I'm not interested in getting into that) so I need at least 5 Watts into 16ohms single-ended.

Also, the headphone in my avatar is just a generic stock picture - I didn't even know what headphone it was!

The Hifiman HE-6. I don't have one yet, but might want to own one oneday, which means that whatever headphone amp I buy must be able to drive single-ended any headphone in existence currently (including the HE-6) as well as any headphone that will ever exist. I don't want to be limited by power at all...

That thread is a bit old and I have only my O2dac-amp to compare it to, so it probably wouldnt be very beneficial. I think he ships wherever, I can get his e-mail if you want? He sadly wont be making them much longer, dont know how much longer though,
