Yes. Atrox. Or is it too warm/«slow»

I`m no reviewer by any means. Atrox compared to Asgard 2, I hear the Asgard as punchier but with a bit smaller soundstage. I think the Atrox is a pretty neutral amp with gobs of power.

Don’t need so much power. Need something engaging/forward/punching.

I bought the Atrox V2 a while back with the help of @pofofo

I don't have it in front of me but I would prefer it to a THX amp.

It's SE only, but built like a tank.

Mmm.. maybe I should buy one

For the price it's a no-brainer. Could easily sell for 2X or more and still be worth it.

I really like that it has 3 way adjustable gain.

I took it :)
Hope lowest gain is low enough for my Grados…

Just make sure you sign everything over to your wife after you put the Grados on your head and before you hit the power button

In all seriousness, I think on low gain it will be a great match. And btw it's killer with DT 1770s. But use gain 2 or 3 and you'll notice an amazing difference in bass and fullness from low gain.

Think I gonna try it with my magni first.
Or should I try with a cleaner dac? Topping E30?

It's a solid state amp that is pretty neutral. Just try everything you have, why not? :)

I don't remember. But, if you use it every day for a year it's amortized at that price :D
