LFF's Enigma (new from the maker of the Paradox)

Anyone got some suggestions for some pretty 4 pin mini XLR connectors? I've been cruising around ebay and it seems they're all about the same. Also, what pins are positive and negative? Never worked with the 4 pins before. Gotta make sure I can actually listen to the Enigma once it shows up!

Not sure about your price range, but Luis actually makes cables as well. Having demoed a pair, I can say they're very well built and look nice to boot. Take a look and shoot him a PM if you're interested.

I think Furutech is one of the only "high quality" ones available.

Oyaide also makes some.

I already got the materials to make the cable, just need the connectors. Those Fururtech connectors look awesome, though I'm not willing to spend that much. The best that I could find for a cheap price seem to be these:

All the rest (aside from more expensive choices) seem way too long and bulky. Doing an ebay search for "4 pin mini xlr female" yields about 5 different choices. I'm still open to ideas!

Also, still not sure what pins to solder to...

I was looking into building my own cable as well and finding the 4 pin xlr connector options lacking in decent budget options that don't look terrible.  I have all this wire from my heavy DIY days sitting around and just need the xlr connectors as well.

I have a feeling that I'm not using the right words in my search, or maybe there just aren't many options.

Stupid to ask since I shouldn't even be looking at more headphones right now, but... Anyone have any comparisons with the Ultrasone Sig Pros?

Hopefully it's a bit "cleaner" than the Sig Pros! (I did like the Sig Pros, currently own the Sig DJs )

I'm hoping to make my 4 strand cable but I'm still a little clueless on what pins to solder to on the 4-pin mini XLR. I found this info on the DIY forum for an 8 strand (Audeze):

Pin 1Channel +
Pin 2Channel -
Pin 3Channel -
Pin 4Channel +

I'd like to have only two cables coming from each connector. Any ideas? @LFF

It is available, even though it's not on ReferenceSounds' website yet. AFAIK, he should be working on #8-10 around this time.

Just shoot Luis an email/PM to know the details such as pricing, colors and availability.
