Nowhere at the moment, but almost every forum I have ever been a member of has had a thread about metal in their lounge area.  Of course a lot of them had too many posts about bands like Godsmack and Linkin Park.

No, the pre-remaster "South of Heaven" is better IMHO (got a Def Jam one from 1988, for just 5£ in good condition - there's a weird scratch on track 8 but it doesn't skip or anything noticeable). The volume is lower but it's more detailed, there's more room and the drums sound more natural. The remaster is very compressed and with lots of clipping, just not as bad sounding as one would have though from the flat waveform.

Interesting! I have to check that out. The seasons CD is what I was disappointed with which is why I got the remaster.

This is a really cool album.  Anybody a fan?
 
Blind Guardian - The Edge of Time
 
A really solid album.  I know someone mentioned it before, but Blind Guardian are one of those acts that continue to make good solid metal.
 
Anyone seen them before?  I am thinking of going.
