I heard Zeppelin number four of this set and it was amazing. Interesting to see what treatment we will see when HD tracks starts selling the next run of remasters. To tell you the truth I'm happy with having the original CD, the 90s remaster the vinyl and the 24/96 rip of the 45rpm. I really don't need anything new?

The funny thing is that their fourth album is the only Led Zeppelin CD I have.

I heard the reason HDtracks albums sound so different from the CDs is primarily due to the fact that they use different masters.

Yeah, but they just had to change it to the trendy new term coined by the band. I'm gonna start a metal band and call it astro metal. XD

Sell as many copies as Meshuggah and you can call it whatever the **** you want.

Darkspace is super awesome!
Took me a while to buy all their albums. Kind of rare, I guess.

Metal Fans.... Has anyone tried any of the Grado E series cans? Are they really an improvement? And are they great with metal even with the stock comfy pads (in the case of the lower end models). Sorry for being off topic but even the guys at the E series thread are very vague about the differences :D plus I wanted the METALHEAD opinion

I would usually agree, but djent is a very distinctive sound. I've never really considered it to be a genre as much as a quality to the music, which usually falls under prog metal. A few months ago for me, hearing someone describe a band as "djent" was just a convenient way to immediately know it was a band I wouldn't like.

This is the only reason I've gotten over the hatred of genre labeling. It helps identify similar bands to ones I already like or dislike.

I'm having a difficult time of getting the point across to a musician about why hyper-compression is unnecessary. Trogdor, do you have any tips?

Listening to the flesh prevails right now on vinyl...I'm disappointed. Wow this sounds so ******* compressed. I'm not even halfway through and have lost motivation to hear till the end. And the music is so incredibly good and beautiful. I could cry like a baby :frowning2:

It's like making love to a beautiful woman... who, every now and then, jabs you in the testicles with a pin tack.
