Does anyone know if the LCD-2's bleed off as much noise as Open Ear Cans Like HD650 or HD800?

They bleed more, actually. The drivers are push-pull, so they basically play on both sides.

You can turn them into small desktop speakers if you feed them enough power

The bleed a lot and anyone within earshot will be able to hear them as well.

They are open ear by design, so yes, definitely.

That's what I was afraid of. I listed to the HD800s and my coworkers nearly killed me because of the noise - and they were terrible with hiphop. I have the Denon D7000, and am considering getting a pair of smeggs's thunderpants. I just don't know if they could compete with the LCD-2s.

Thanks for your help though - saved me a thousand.
