How are you holding up Dr. Eric? I hope everyone here is healthy.

Hey Eric, can you post again the frequency response graphs of the different Kennerton's? I'm trying to remember how the Thridi sounds in comparison with the others. Thanks.

Hi Andrew.

Right now, I'm fine.
The situation is serious, even critical in France.
The father of my wife's best girl friend is currently between life and death in intensive care.
Strict confinement measures (fourth week in France) are vital for everyone.

Do you think the 02 pads are better or just different?
Good question. I think they've been measured here? Personally I haven't done much experimenting with them yet. I just know they can be a pain to get them fully on again properly, lol. With the Thekk, which one is which?

Hi all.

The answer, here:

By the way, the table top (orange) of my dining room have become famous in Russia!

Thanks Eric. Very difficult times...I hope everyone stays safe.

Hi all.

Hi Andrew in Montreal, Canada. :)

I'm relaying here this video of William Murdock, really topical, and the word is weak...

Take care of yourself, but take care of the others, too...

For Thekk owners, how is the openess / airiness / soundstage ? How do they compare against Hifiman high end headphones in term of soundstage ?
I’m looking for a high end heaphone and was tempting by Hifiman Arya because of its great soundstage.
Also I’m glad to see that new Kennerton prices are more ‘affordable’.

Others here could probably give a better reply, but for what it's worth: I own a HifiMan HE1000v2 I find the Thekk and HE1000v2 to be somewhat similar-- in that they are both very airy and detailed, and have a similar soundstage (pretty wide open). The HifiMan is to my ears a little more transparent, but is a bit too bright, and is very hard to drive. It sounds a little too 'soft' for me. The Thekk is smoother on top, more durable feeling, and easier to drive. Richer in tonality overall, while still being airy, refined, and detailed. I prefer the Thekk.

Thank you for your reply, some questions again : in term of bass quality / quantity which one is better ? Also which one has the more natural sound or, say differently, which one is the more life like ?

Hmm, I'd have to A/B them again. I put my HifiMan away recently, as I was not really using them much. Don't misunderstand: the HE1000v2, and numerous other HifiMan offerings are really, really good to my ears. For Classical/acoustic musics, probably the best I've ever owned. Superb natural tonality, I'd say. But I like how Kennerton presents music better-- a little more gravity to the sound, a little richer.
