Is this a rebranded kennerton thekk?
I am still waiting on my Thekk so I wanted to try a Kennerton headphone and purchased the HP-1 which is a mix of the new Odin and Thridi.

The amp is an Electro Magnetic Company 535SE from The Audio Guild. I really like the retro look But the market didn't. It was design / built by Steve Eddy.

I just wanted to say thanks to this group as it was by chance I came across this thread and the Thekk thread. Your enthusiasm for Kennerton really got me interested in them and all the PMs and Facebook messages with Valentin finally got me to actually take that step and order those green Thekks Eric posted in the Thekk thread. Valentin told me today they are in the US somewhere but the Corvid-19 situation is really causing things to hang up.

If you can ask for SN 001, 003 or 010 as they have the best graph specs according to Valentin. The standard is 2.5% - 3.0% variance but those three have 1.5% variance. I received SN002 as they shipped a day before Valentin told them to send me one of those 3.

Thanks for the info Audio Addict :relaxed:

I'd say Odin

When I was messaging with Valentin on these, he told me, the sonic signature came closer to the Thridi than the Odin. They are of course designed under their new style to lower weight and improve reliability but it seems the entire line is slowly migrating to the new style. They do come with the ECL-01 but LSA is working on stocking the ECL-02 for the enhanced sub bass and bass signature.

How does the new Wodan compare with the Thekk?

Wodan has a little bit less bass. In general, I love Wodan, it has an engaging sound, a great soundstage, I would call Wodan as Thekk's little brother. Wodan is also lightweight and comfortable. For me, Wodan is in the second place in the entire top line of Kennertons. In the first place, of course, Thekk.

If you are on a budget, you can take Wodan.
