Hi all.

Vali Néoteric (50 mm open "graphene" electrodynamic driver) with the following comment on Kennerton's facebook site.

"Fantastic couple, that sounds great! Kennerton Vali Neoteric feat. Centrance HiFi-M8 V2 for extra audio enjoyment. Did you try it yet?

Updated Kennerton Vali Neoteric - is just sound, quality sound, with incredible naturality and crystal clearance. Due to special design of inner cup sfere with 4 sound labyrinth-trap, the different types of resonances and abnormal distortions are kept below minimum."

I have to say, I've never liked this headband design (looks wise), but with this new Vali I'm warming to it. As others have said, a leather piece covering the steel rails might look great. Cheers.

Thror-Curly-Maple.jpg

A closed-back version of this Thror - the Rögnir, perhaps? - replete with all of its trappings, would be an inch away from aesthetic perfection.

Does Kennerton make beautiful, top-class headphones, or, do they make great-sounding head jewelry?

Red isn't for everyone.

But for those who love it .... here're some things 'Red'

Magnificent.
Russian luxury.
It's the great Class! (with a capital C!) :)

Otherwise, curious to know your listening impressions for the Wodan (2021), compared to the Odin mk2.

Already less heavy to wear; it's a certainty.

I'm not gonna give the sound review/impression yet.
All I can say is it sounds amazing. Detailed yet engaging. Neutral yet fun. I like it very much so far.

Also, I'd been wearing it for 2 hours straight and almost forgot that it's on my head.
Partly also because of Kennerton's newer ear pads. These things are really soft and pleasant to wear.

Even the original Odin (Mk1) is much more comfortable with the newer pads.

And I got my Odin Mk1 back!

Kennerton (Valentin, specifically) completely 'restore/revamp' this headphone for me.

Not only I got the new drivers in these cans, the wood cups got new satin finished, and I also got completely new headband and ear pads.
Both of these make the Odin Mk1 much more comfortable.
And it's brown :)

I don't know what driver Valentin put in this. He didn't tell me. (Actually I didn't ask).
But it sounds different from what I remember the Odin Mk1 (purely from memory).
And it sounds amazing too!
