LSA HP2 vs Audeze LCD-2 Closed or nighthawk by Audioquest- your thoughts? Is it LSA HP2 a hyped up FOSTEX? or like a Beats?

I did not listen to all these headphones except the Fostex TH-900
But yes, LSA HP2 look like a hyped Fostex TH-900

The fact is that you can tune the sound (using different ear pads, or inside the cups) and get both hyped Fostex with a very impact bass and something like Magni with smoother sound, wider soundstage and fast bass.

There is a hole in the cups, and it is closed with a special plug (acoustic carpet). The denser this plug, the less bass and more treble you get. The thinner or more transparent this plug is, the more powerful the sound you get.

I am torn on LSA HP2 - since I cant see or hear them or read a real review... plus they offer no return policy where Kennerton do have 30 days seems like a no brainier-

I am not looking for fake sound

Then choose another model. Maybe LSA HP-1 / Kennerton Odin, or Magni. But the best choice would be Kennerton Wodan or Thekk

I canceled the order on the the LSA HP2- Ken was great and understanding. I plan on revisting them once more reviews come out. For now I went with Magnis from Kennerton- supper happy at least I know what I am getting for sure as far as sound signature- and if they aren't what I thought- I will return them since they have that great 30 day trial but I think they will have to pry them off my head since the sound signature is right up my alley. Thanks for all your help on this forum. I will keep everyone informed as they are being delivered shortly to me in New York USA - I will do a review for sure...

Letting my LSA HP-1 burn in for a few days. At first brief compare against my current favorite open back headphones (Drop x Focal Elex) I would say the HP-1 comes across as a bit muted in the mids and lows by comparison. Will try with more burn in and the new ear pads.

Overall a nice intro to the Kennerton line and may tempt me more...

I assume the HP-1 uses similar cabes to other Kennerton headphones... What kind of connectors do these use? I am interested in purchasing some balanced cables.

Mini XLR?

I don’t know how long you burned-in them, but they will definitely improve the sound after burning-in
