BTW, since you leave the up open, will it affect the its SQ?
Not sure exactly what you mean but the enclosures are not open, what you see is the rubber/metal extending into the enclosure.
Once I get use of a Dremel I mean to clean that up a bit, but really do not want to open it up and spoil the sound, but who knows, it might sound better, and can jb weld it if it doesn't. It really is amazing though how much better they stay put vs stock, YMMV of course.

Oh, I see. I think I'll do this later.

So one of the pads on my M500s has a fairly significant tear along the side seam. Replacement pads out of stock on official website.

Anyone know of any other sources for pads? Pretty unlikely, I imagine :frowning2:

I emailed them last Sunday and they mailed out new pads on Monday. I also sent them this photo:

Just met with a KEF rep today, and am considering becoming a dealer. In answer to the question earlier, the M200 has been discontinued. The M100 in-ear is available, as are the on-ear M400 and M500.  Only had a chance to listen to the M500 and thought it sounded great - a real contender at the $300 price point (if you don't mind the ear-pad form factor). I found it to be very comfortable, but would need to do an extended listening session to determine comfort after 30-60-90 minutes.

How do you M500 owners feel about long-session comfort?

Has anyone compared these to the Beyer DT1350? Are the mids up front or back in row 1/2?

Alright, let me rephrase: Are the mids up front or back in row 1/2? Cheers!
