Hey, I'm stuck between these two headphones, which do you recommend and why? I'll be using it for music (rock/rap/dubstep) and gaming. Thanks.

I vote JVC-HA-RX700, because they are cheaper.

I'm not choosing them because of cheapness but for the value of the price. So the one more worth buying for the price.

I know nothing about the Kickers
I own the JVC HA-Rx900s and I've heard a few say they prefered the RX700s over the RX900s.
So I'm sure the RX700s are as good as you can get at that price, my two cents.

I saw the JVC and the X700 and thought for a moment that this thread was about FX700s...

I own both the HARX700 and the kicker Hp541..
 
Get the kicker HP541s... They will completely surprise you.  One of my faves actually... The JVCs are good for the price but
I find the overall sound on the kickers to me more to my liking.. If you like Bass heavy music go for the Kickers. If you game at all the HARX700 are better for that and do bass heavy music decently but the kickers win out..

I looked at those.. They look the same but I truly doubt they share the same drivers.. The Specs are completely different..
