JVC HA-FXZ 100/200

I hope you guys enjoy both the fxz100 and fxz200s equally as they are pretty good iems on their own. However, I've seen the fxz200s inflate tremendously a week ago, and would like to comment that the fx700s MIGHT be a better buy when the fxz200s reach the 18,000 price bracket. As far as it stands as of now, the fxz100 is tremendously cheaper than the fxz200 and will be a better buy if you are not crazy for metal and genres that involves speed. However, if you are, the fxz200s are back to a low price which is a good thing.

I am copy pasting what I wrote for several headfi members. This is what you gotta do.

After you register with Tenso Look up the Amazon Japan template.

Ya on your home page there is a template with how to put in the address.

The address they gave you is exactly the same info I got as well. When you try n check out of Amazon Japan. Everything is exactly the same as the US version. Exept what your putting in is that address.

There is real helpful template on How to enter your tenso address. Click on it and then click on the Amazon.Co.jp template

You should see numbers 1-7

1) your name in english
2) 120-0023 just like it says
3) Tokyo-ku drop down selection
4) Copy n paste on your amazon this line
5)TS148669
6) Copy n paste this exact on your Amazon like line 4
7)03-5739-3341 That is it. Simple as that. And once you hit order. You are done. they send your earphones to Tenso and once Tenso gets it. They charge you like 5 bux for the handling and then around $15 for shipping. That is that.

The TS number is your custommer number and you will be assigned a different TS number but minus that This numbered template is exactly what you put on for checking out your FXZ200 from Amazon Japan. And Amazon Japan has an english version so you don't have to go through that in japanese or anything like that.. Again much easier than you think.. You will also get your earphone if you live in the US customes free and quick shipping. Will take a week. Good luck and try this and save yourself some money. It works too well.

I know this is a bit old now... I'm using Tenso on Amazon Japan, the prefecture drop down only has "Tokyo-to" not "Tokyo-ku".

This is how it appears in the Amazon confirmation email:
My Name
120-0023
Tokyo-to 足立区千住曙町42-4
TSXXXXXXX

Does that look right?

I just got the FXZ200 and am listening to them now thru the L3 + LLP.  I'm using Monster SuperTips.
I listen to "epic" trailer music [movie soundtracks, etc] and I'm liking the FXZ200 A LOT.
I recently got the UE900 and, for me, they aren't nearly as enjoyable as the FXZ200.
I'm loving the bass on these.
I'm now wondering if the FX700 would be a nice complement to these.

if your phone isnt playing at high enough volumes, you can try an amp
try comply tips- ts400 for less sound changing but t400 for for isolation (which seems like thats what you need)

Recieved Amp and comply T-400 tips.

Amp brought out the sound but my Atrios still sound way better.(about 30 hrs burn in for 200's)

The comply tips totally ruined the sound of the FXZ200, i cant even explain.

I currently use the  stock dual flange silicone with my atrios and looking for similar tip for the FXZ200 , something that will allow deeper insertion.

Thanks

hi guys!

i just rcv my fxz100. i was using a pair of FXT90, which i love very much. i'm sure they are FXT90 owners here.  do you guys find the seal not as good as FXT90? for me, the FXZ100 just dun sit nicely in my ears (i'm using the same small sized tips). that's a problem as i use them while i commute in the mrt (subway fro singapore). poor seal = poor sound

i do get an idea of how it sounds while i was in my room. deeper bass, airier and bigger sound. a tad slower compared to the FXT90. some drum sounds sound unnatural, to me anyway.

This was to be my first Portable AMP didnt want to spend more than £55.

Ah well, the BH is only £65 shipped:

I think 80+ hours of battery life is a substantial gain over the E11 measly 10 + hours, and for only a tenner more lol

The E11 at £55 (ie $85 US) is too much. If you can get it for around $40-50 US (which I think you should be able to do), then it's a very good deal.

But yes, at £55, it's a no-brainer to go for the C&C BH instead for £10 more.
