Exactly! Hope the buyer gave him permission to open the unopened box of earphones he purchased. Scratching my shaved head on this one.

Forgot to mention that the FXZ200 did not work without an amp. Too mudy, no treble, no nothing. You amp them and its heaven since bass, to mids, to treble, to micro detail. If you don't have an amp don't buy them, they don't work.

Yeah, ill wait in that case. I think an amp will serve me better in the long run anyways.

So not true and an unfair statement to make with only that short of time listening to them.

+1 The sound pretty good coming out of my phone, granted some of my players don't bring out the best, but it's mostly bass punch that you notice lacking the detail is still there.

Have a listen to this one folks, sounds great to my ears.

Just got mine from EMS yesterday- my initial impressions resemble miow's, however I'm pretty sure they just need a bit of use. To be fair the mids are very sweet and are more forward than my FX700s and the bass(while still slightly muddy) still has a very nice texture to it. Soundstage has a significant amount of air(which is surprising to me for a dynamic!). Voices are noticably more intelligable(particularly female vocals). Treble sounds a bit muted, though I'm sure it'll clear after a while. These have potential- I'll share a bit more when they've broken in!

You are confusing me miow. I thought that you are selling the XB800's now?

yeppp it's that miow logic, it's futile trying to understand it.

Yes, I'm selling them as I've ordered the V-MODA M-100's. The 100€ will be of help to help funding the 300€ purchase from amazon. And I've also bought an high-end amp (C&C XO2 + C&C BH)

Oh, yes, I've asked the buyer if I could listen to them just for an hour or 2 and he said yes, no problem. They were posted already BTW : )

Still kills me that the M-100s are 300€ when they're $310 USD.

I have some of those as well and are surprised you didn't give the FXZ200 more of a chance! Anyway, the M-100s sound great right out of the box so I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

Shotgunshane stated earlier that the 200 reminded him of Aurisonics first ASG-1. I can kind of see why he would make that comparison, but to me the ASG-1 nor ASG-1.2 sound nothing like the 200 and 100.

For what it's worth, I don't think the fxz200 sounds like the asg-1. The sounstage surrounds/envelopes just like the asg-1.
