I feel that the FD01s are not for the average consumer used to a fun warmish sound; they are not colored and offer a more critical listening experience. FD01 perform best with vocals, laid back electronic music and hip hop; and has exceptionally good synergy on bassy tracks, bringing balanced sound, liveliness and clarity to complement the whole audio spectrum. You will enjoy these if you are looking for accuracy, wide expansive soundstage and if you don’t mind a bright, lively signature, you will be treated with a superb bass; not muddy nor impactful but tight, extended, fast and detailed. The main caveat is its detailed, driving bass and glaring highs - when coupled together, could create fatigue quickly. FD01s are source selective as well and could benefit greatly with a warmer device, tip rolling and good quality audio.

Am gonna audition it longer and will post my continual impressions when compared with my ATH-CK100Pros and AKG K3003s (also detail monsters)

The only flaw is the peak between 3 - 4 kHz. When you listen to good mastered music with high dynamic range the mids often gets agressive and fatigue.
But this DLC driver is one of the best driver currently available. After a short period of brain adaption i also like it very much.
Try also Moondrop Kanas Pro - similar DLC driver but with more subbass and warmer mids. The signature is similar to CA Andromeda - insider name the Kanas Pro therefore "the dynamic brother of Andromeda"

Can you please share some more impressions/comparison between the FD01 and Kanas Pro specially about the vocals quality/positioning and soundstage depth/height ,

What is the sound signature of FD01 , it is mid centric/v-shape or balance ,?

Both are mid centric - the FD01/02 have a lot more energy on mids, the Kanas Pro is in the mids more balanced.
FD01/02 bass is on the same level as Sony EX1000 - Kanas Pro have 10 dB lift on subbass with less texture quality compared to FD01/02.
Both have average depth/height of soundstage.
Kanas Pro is warmer than the brighter FD 01/02

When you like neutral analytic sound - FD01/02 will be yor choice (with swab filter mod from james444)
Kanas Pro is not neutral but balanced with warmer mids and subbass lift - it is more a fun signature not suitable for headfi purists.
Both share a similar DLC driver with high resolution comparable with multi BA's.

Thank you very much for your detailed reply ,
one more question , besides the 3 filter nozzles and a upgrade cable the FD01 is sonically how much upgrade/superior to FD02 and which version is less brighter ,?

The driver is identical, the nozzels have no effect on the sound and the FD02 is less brighter.
I own the FD02 and use it with a improved upgrade cable from furutech.
But when you want to mod the FD01/02 to reduce the peak it is better to buy the FD01.
After a short period of brain adaption i can handle the energetic mids without mod.
