The driver is identical, the nozzels have no effect on the sound and the FD02 is less brighter.
I own the FD02 and use it with a improved upgrade cable from furutech.
But when you want to mod the FD01/02 to reduce the peak it is better to buy the FD01.
After a short period of brain adaption i can handle the energetic mids without mod.
Thank you so much for the help friend ,

I'm currently looking for an iem with a bigbig/airy sound stage but vocals are still forward .Will the fd01 work? I've heard the ex1000 has one of the biggest sound stage. How is this compared to ex1000? I do prefer this one as it looks more comfortable though.

hi, any suggestions on a 4.4 balanced cable for the FD01? i enjoy the sound but ergonomically is not the best when worn over ears. any recommendations on a cable with good ergonomics would be much appreciated.

I'm using this one with my FD01: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/NIC...424.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.57e74c4dUkq2Lk .... goes very well with them, and @hakuzen has measured them as being quite good quality in the lower cost cables thread (here: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/low-end-cheap-generic-otherwise-bang-for-buck-cable-thread.891911/).

In general, I find that a good pure copper cable goes well, for my ears, with the FD01 (and I normally prefer silver cables).

Only thing is, you can usually end up paying around $55-65 for the cable, when there's more discount offered (11.11 etc), so it may not be the best possible moment to buy it, now.

For your information, i tried a Fiio cable. I strongly suggest avoiding this. the memory wire just doesnt work well with the FD01 leaving a poor seal. also, the right side connector has a poor fit to the earpiece making it really tight, but left side is ok. first time i experienced left/right having different fittings. may be poor QC.

Need help, cant get good seal.

Heard the new spiral dot+ is some kind of memory silicone, cant find where to purchase.

Also any recommendations for custom ear tips and where to order?
About custom ear tips - I got mine from a small, local family business audiologist for €80, including the impressions.
He did a great job, fast, personal and professional, for less than half of what the big chain was asking.

Yes they come with the FD01, but the ones with FD01 are not coloured just black. if you want to buy just order directly from amazon japan like you would from amazon us. you may need to create a jp account. they ship international.
