$575 opened box item! Almost half off retail price! They still have 1 for $586 if anyone wants to jump on it. I'm returning my Pro 900 so this is really my Christmas/bday gift for myself :D. Do you guys think that was a good deal? I made sure to call amazon before purchasing to make sure it was still covered in their return policy just in case. I'm so excited and nervous. This is my largest headphone purchase to date!

I get my DT990 Pros today. If I don't like it as much as I used to like my old DT990s, I might just go for those D7000s again. I trust Electronics Expo's listing on Amazon more, and they are authorized.

This is assuming one of you don't nab it first.

I don't really want another leather padded headphone, but the D7000 was so good to me, I'll forgive that.

Just for your information guys.

Call JR Audio and try to negotiate the price down, I manage to get it down to $620 from listed price $999.

And it's a brand new, shipping is another $15 if you live in US.

I saw this thread right after you posted it. I'm picking up the Denon D5000's soon, and you almost made me plunge for the D7000's for about $130 more. It took all the self-control I had to keep from buying them. :p

Congrats mate, enjoy your cans!

They shipped today! I didn't go for the electronics expo one because there is a $50 sales tax plus shipping. If these aren't up to snuff then I'll go the J&R route.
