I get my DT990 Pros today. If I don't like it as much as I used to like my old DT990s, I might just go for those D7000s again. I trust Electronics Expo's listing on Amazon more, and they are authorized.

I don't really want another leather padded headphone, but the D7000 was so good to me, I'll forgive that.
I saw this thread right after you posted it. I'm picking up the Denon D5000's soon, and you almost made me plunge for the D7000's for about $130 more. It took all the self-control I had to keep from buying them.
They shipped today! I didn't go for the electronics expo one because there is a $50 sales tax plus shipping. If these aren't up to snuff then I'll go the J&R route.
