I don't like it, but I know it happens. You can only do so much, but if someone is determined, then they will have it.

Yup...

I just wish the owner would have let me know....

That said, pwnm30rdi3 has assured me he respects my ideas and will keep them private. At the moment, there are other issues to deal with.

I pulled apart a pair of LFF Paradox modded headphones today. Wow he really wanted to make sure no one could get into these suckers.

Yep. I had a hell of a time opening my Paradox up, and in the end broke them beyond repair. I wish I wasn't so curious....

Yeaaahhh...I'm extremely curious what's inside my Paradox, but there's no way I'm going to open mine up! I'm not taking my chances...

That's how they ended up by design/luck - sorry to hear they broke on you.  They all break when opened and will be beyond repair if you don't know what you are doing. They are hermetically sealed and must remain so to work properly. This has NOT been a secret.

Yeah, that's the one. Is that picture related to my post or what? Because I want to see you guys' solution to putting it there since elastics are pretty wide, especially the one that I plan to use

Ahh sorry I must have misunderstood your question/request. The picture is the picture of the hinge from the inside.
If you were wondering where and how to tie the elastics for a suspension headband a la LFF, then here's some more on at least how I do it:

Above or below the loop makes little difference. Go from the bars on top of the slider, loop it, and bring it between the bars on either side of the cable that's going in/out of the headband.

Hope that answers your question, if I got it wrong again let me know!

i wish i can hear what the paradox sounds like...

I had my first experience hearing the Paradox by LFF at a headphone meet last weekend.  I was quite pleased with the sound.  The bass was good and responsive.  The other frequencies were balanced and the headphones really presented a great listening experience.  I've done more than a few Fostex T50RP modifications and I've been able to achieve the "within range" the even frequencies of the Paradox.  However, the bass that is offered by the Paradox, is something I have not been able to personally achieve.  Simply put, LFF knows what he's doing.  The Paradox is a fine set of headphones.  The pair I listened to, had the HifiMAN pleather ear pads installed.  The pleather earpads were removed from the plastic ring and then installed over the Fostex cups.  Very professionally done.

Wow...thanks for that humbling review.

I really, really try to do the best I can. After more than 12 years in audio engineering I am happy to put my experience and love into every audio project I get. (Currently even working on dampening a car!) I might even be doing re-cables and different colored Paradox housings soon.

Yeah, that's the one I meant. Thanks. Though I want to know if using this is possible is sewn right

Feels like I just want to skip any other upgrades, be it CIEMs, amps, dac, etc and just get this

Fostex T50RP Incremental Mods and Measurements Update

Uploaded to the database: SPL FR graphs, Waterfall Plots, and Spectrograms for All Stock T50RP (Left and Right Channels) for side-by-side comparisons with a fully modded DBV #2. Scroll down to  Graphs 56-61.

This is interesting because you readily see the improvements modding produces including flattening the frequency response, extending bass and sub-bass, and extending treble while remaining very fast. The dip around 7 kHz does not actually exist. It's caused by measurement error due to the shape and size of my pinna-HRTF because the mic is stuck in my ear.
