I always ask for her permission before taking her stuff.

Thanks. I actually found the stock band very comfortable but the suspension mod takes it to another level. I actually just removed the shoulder pad from a gym bag and slipped it over some stiff paper and now it's ubber comfy and looks nice too. I'll post a picture later.

Not releasing those mods....

The suspension mod really does make a noticeable difference in comfort.

I also just found a perfect cable replacement for those of you who do not like the stock cable.

I disagree....

You can get very close. The FA-003 is a closed headphone that sounds like an open headphone. I know I am not the only one who has noticed that.

Also, more than one person has asked me if my mod'd T50's are open after hearing them....

True, to an extent. My FA-003's are modded by replacing the stock cup dampening with Paxmate. They sound similar to open headphones, but my AKG K501's sound quite a bit more open. My T50RP's still need to be further modded to add a reflex dot, but they sound pretty open, moreso than the FA-003's but less so than the K501's. That said, I find myself reaching for my T50RP's more and more, as they are beginning to sound very good. I am currently using my pleather FA-003 pads on them right now.

Well can you be so kind as to share the cable you think matches well?

Edit: Tbh, it's becoming to much baiting for me.

What cable would that be?

LOL! A few people have asked....

Only difference is that I would charge under $200....WAY under if you provide the headphones....

I was thinking around 280 including the cans for international buyers like me so that we could save on the back and forth shipping :). We would pay you in advance with paypal of course hehehe

I have only been listening to my T50RP's exclusively until today when I got some new headphones in for review purposes.

The FA-003 pads on the T50RP's are awesome in terms of comfort, seal and overall looks.

Here you go...it even has an angled plug:

It's only $9.99 and the build quality is superb. Perfect for those who want a 3.5mm jack.

For international buyers...I guess that would be a fair price. I guess I need to get my hands on some stock T50RP's.....

Headband update....

Essentially I took a shoulder pad like this and put the paper through it so that the pad covers the paper and ends up looking like this:

The result is super comfortable and stylish.

If I were you guys, I would head out to your nearest Wally World and pick up a lunch cooler bag or cheap gym bag for $5.00 and just use the strap that comes with that. You get the pad for an ubber comfy headphone and a bag to carry them in.

EDIT: Cheapest price for the exact same pad are $14.99! Still...not too bad considering the comfort you get.

Interesting cable there LFF..I guess it would be quite helpful for those who want a 3.5mm jack. Usually for me a 1/4 inch works great although in rare cases like a month ago when my dac died and I only had a portable dac/amp the 3.5mm was a life saver..

I'm definitely going to have to get another T50RP if it was ever in stock :p I hope B&H has a pair that I can pick up one of these days but no rush as I already have one..actually using it now :D

Yup...that's why posted the cable information as I know some people hate 1/4 inch jacks.

I hope B&H gets some new stock in...I seriously want to modify the next pair I get. Same sonic mods but I want to make them more artistically beautiful....
