We're proud to announce that we'll have not one, not two, but three world premieres at the meet:
 
We'll have two each of the brand-spanking new Sennheiser HD558 and HD598, successors to the 555 and 595.
In addition, Denon will let us hear the new Denon AH-D1100 and AH-NC800!
Addendum: The new beyerdynamic t5p will be there as well.
Aaaaand another one: We have the improved Sleek Audios SA6-R.
 
The kind folks at Hifi im Hinterhof have agreed to host our first Central European/German head-fi meeting in Berlin on Saturday, September 11th 2010. We'll have two of the store's dedicated studios exclusively to ourselves. The official headphone-evaluation part of the meeting will go from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Let's turn that into an advantage and have the first audiophile brunch in the history of head-fi! After 3 p.m. (give or take a couple of minutes), we'll go out for a couple of drinks and bites to eat and then enjoy Berlin's night life.

Any better excuse to go to Berlin than this?

I will not be bringing all my stuff because of transportation limits. I need to be able to carry it in a large backpack I think I can bring the following gear:

Headphones: Thunderpants.
Unfortunately I couldn't carry heavier gear by train or plane, so it will be just them.

See my post on hifi-forum, might or might not be attaining. Depends on how much I suffer from being around at IFA for audio-technica and if I celebrate my birthday this day.
 
Do I have to confirm and reserve a place or can I just drop by, if I feel like it?
