@Zarium I bought them from auctions.yahoo.co.jp
(or you can buy via buyee.co.jp), but today I try to find the items, I cannt find them at all.

I may list them in the classified soon, because I already sold both the Layla II and Roxanne II, but wait a bit cuz I actually want to buy the Layla II back

Do you remember the search terms you used? How much did they cost you, and how much would you like for them if you were to sell them?

Anyone using their Roxannes with the Sony NW-WM1A ? I currently have the CIEM version with the moon audio cable with base adjuster connected to the SE and its superb but I k ow a lot of the NW-WM1A and 1z users rave about the 4.4 balanced port - is it worth changing cable?

Also toying with adding the hack to access the high gain setting that is blocked on the Western Europe model - do folk think it's worth the effort if I am only driving the Roxannes

Slow thread - an update - looked at some cables but ended up going with the moon audio silver dragon with the balanced 4.4mm terminal and even before the WM-1A fully burns in its obvious that the Roxannes have been transformed - the upgrade cable is simply superb and releases much more of the capability of the Roxannes

Has anyone made a CIEM with silver carbon faceplate? I want to see what kind of design would fit since it's not on the designer.

I have no idea whether or not JH offers such an option, but here are examples from other manufacturers who do:

just posted this in the main Roxanne thread:

Just got the Roxanne performance series, after hearing the jh13v2 perf I was curious about these.

I haven't owned the original roxanne for over a year, but I remember they seemed quite peaky and dark overall

These seem more balanced, still have that chesty meaty lower midrange but the peaks are evened out and has better clarity, without that hazy background that I remember.

soundstage and imaging are VERY impressive, and they just sound so BIG, while still remaining airy and delicate. Seriously, the bass seems like its coming from a big driver, while its quite punchy, it still rumbles really well. Great bass, great mids, good treble. Overall its somewhat dark, but overall neutral and BIG sounding.

The bass is so different- in a good way. its not boomy, slow, or overpowering at all, but is just very full sounding, really unique.

JH tunes its upper mids treble to peak around 3 kHz as well as 5-6 kHz, which gives great sparkle and airiness to the mids, but the 9-10khz peak that most iems have is lowered considerably. they dip from 8-10.5 and come back around 11-12, which helps keep the treble from getting bright and harsh.

These might be keepers!

Hey, guys. I have registered long time ago on this forum, but typing my first message only now. I've sold lots from my collection of CIEMs in my country and still got a pair of custom Roxannes left. If you need them for a good deal, PM me. I'll be happy to talk with you, guys!

I've been curious about comparing the AK Roxanne II, Roxanne performance and JH16v2 Pro performance. However I've found barely anything online about the JH16v2 universal.

I also wonder if JH will ever update the AK Siren Series (Angie/Roxanne/Layla) with the 3D printed shell and shape like the AK Michelle/Roxanne performance.

I just found out that feeding Roxanne with a very transparent source and setting the bass at 0dB gives Roxanne the best detail resolution. Especially the micro details.

Rockbox recently just become supported with DX50. With rockbox set to all flat response and with a transparent amp (UHA-6S), Roxanne can deliver the details of each recordings as exactly as it was intended.
What is the setting for the bass to be 0dB ? is it all the way to the left or at 9 O'clock position ? many thanks
