JH Audio JH16 Pro First Impressions

I had a cable from Chris before for my TF10's. It sounded great. Folding it up was a bit difficult though.

I have a whiplash twag v3 now for my Jh16's that is terminated to hirose. It still fits into the stock case. I miss having the memory wire/sheathing around the ears though. I haven't compared before and after sound yet.

yeah it's definitely not as soft as twag v2 and the memory wire can be heavy on the ears sometimes. But really the build quality is top class.
Soundwise, I feel them help on the resolution and soundstage. The detail is brought a bit closer.

Indeed it does. Do you find it a bit stiff as well compared to most other cables?

I got my JH-16 pro a couple of days ago, these are definitely my dream CIEM. I think my CIEM journey is finally over. Now to find the perfect set of full size lol.

Sorry guys. Yes it is only a v2. No need to get your credit cards and wallets out just yet!

The twag is quite a bit stiffer than the soft stock cable but it doesn't tend to be so stiff as to catch on things. Microphonics is quite mood too with the choker. I like it and would happily buy another.

Just got my JH16s today.  For the record and if anyone is wondering or interested, here was my order time-line:

Ordered and paid for:  03/30
JH Audio received my impressions:  04/05
JH16s Shipped:  05/02
Received:  05/07  (actually made it to town on 05/05 but UPS does not deliver on Saturday so my JH16s sat in their warehouse over the weekend)

So a bit less than a month to manufacture, and exactly a month from receipt of impressions to delivery.  Not too bad, even though it felt like an eternity.  But my wait is finally over and my first impression from just listening to them for no more than just few minutes:  Wow!
