I too am starting to get a little bugged about how long the wait it.  I'm #7 and paid at Canjam, expecting them soonish...but my gut feeling is end of September at least considering how long it takes to finalize the hardware and fimware running in it (remember that at Canjam everything was done on a laptop).  Also once all parts are finalized there is a long lead time for ordering parts in bulk, assembling them, etc.  So i'm not holding my breath anytime soon and keeping it in the same category as my PWD Bridge which I also paid for and will have to wait a few more months.

To be fair, this is a fairly groundbreaking and exciting project.

I was told the person who was working on the amp with Jerry left the project just when it was about to be complete which has caused a delay by a couple of weeks.  If I had to guess, late September is the release.  I hope its worth it.

I have a feeling that any delay will be well worth it once you get your hands on it..And then of course you are all going to be costing the rest of us a lot of money following suite after your reviews!!

anyone know what are the current options for a portable setup feeding digital into the JH-3A? is there any portable MP3 player that can output digital through S/PDIF that can be used while walking or at least sitting in a waiting room?
