Can anyone who owns both the D10 and H40 say that the slightly smaller shell on the D10 has an impact on fit/comfort? I still loooooove my H40s but the protruding shell tends to make my ears sore after a couple hours or so.

H40 were hot on my ears when i was using azla / spiral dot large size. Recently I use the sony eartips (mine is similar to the Z1R default tips), and using a bit smaller size than my usual size to go deeper insertion, and they fit like gloves, you may need to slightly twist them when inserting, must go DEEP. yes, DEEP insertion is the key, go smaller tips if your usual size is prevent you from going deeper.

I am in the same situation as the others with regards to shipping for my D10. I got a notification that it was handed off to HK Post on March 28, and no updates since :/

Be patient guys, mine finally arrived to country.

Also there is a deal, Penon and ISN Audio are making some good deals these days, Rambo II earbuds with C4 cable. I bought another earbuds couple days ago, i wish seen that before. Maybe i will consider, very tempting.

How is pairing with C4 and D10?

S4 pairs better with D10 for me with a leaner and more sparkly presentation. The C4 is no slouch either. Have been using it with my Campfire Andromeda. Very good synergy. It depends on personal preference I guess. As for the Rambo II, it is quite a sweet deal.

@zepmaj which iem? D10 or H40?
I have D10 and had intermittent problem.
I cleaned up the mmcx connector and so far so good but still worried that I will get the problem back. They asked me to send the iem back to them for replacement if I have the problem again.

Sorry D10, i tried to do that too but nothing changed. When i swapped to connectors problem remains, left cable connector is problematic. I also consider just getting another cable, dont send and wait but cable is really good as i understand which makes D10 so appealing.

When left cable moved where connect to earphone, sound cuts off also dont connects earphone as tight as right one. Was yours have same problem as mine?

Mine is also left side but I suspected the issue was on the iem instead of the cable. I replaced with other cable and the left side still got intermittent. I also noticed that the problem appeared (lost sound) more frequently when I worn facemask where the rubber pressed the cable over the ear.

Do you have any particular method to clean? I will try to clean again, maybe it will work out, i'm pretty sure cable is defective though.

I just brushed the female connector. Honestly, I doubt the issue is because of the dirty connector although I could not pin point what the root cause is and couldn't reproduce the problem. I still have 1 year warranty anyway.
Yours might be cable problem as what you described. No harm to get another cable from them.

Hi, did Penon paid the return fee? Or you had to?
Because my H40’s right earpiece MMCX socket is bad, it’s loose and the music is skipping while walking.
I just wrote them today on AliExpress, and I’m waiting for the answer and I’m curious.
The cable’s male mmcx connectors are the same,
and the IEM’s female sockets are the same also. I have no problem with the left earpiece btw. There is just one difference, the right mmcx socket is like coming out from the shell, don't get me wrong, the socket itself does not moving, it's fixed in this position. It’s palpable and visible, and I think this causes the contact problem.

I think they don't. I don't send them yet. They have good customer service though, they seem helpful.
