I finally decided to sell my H50 to a friend. They are great iems but their treble and uppermids are too present for my taste.
I have hesitated a lot but although they have not presented at any time any sibilance, it is true that for punk and psychedelic rock music they are not 100% to my liking.

One can live very happy with the EST50 without EQing them. I EQ all of my IEMs, no matter the price. In most cases, this is just some fine-tuning, getting the last 5-10% out of them. The EST50 required very small adjustments, so there is no « need » to EQ them, but I was able to squeeze the last bit of awesomeness doing so.
The LPGT has such a precise and effective PMEQ system that it would be a missed opportunity to not use it.
I don't EQ my EST50 either. I put on a silver cable to tame the bass and elevate the rest and wide tips to let the mid/upper frequencies shine. Perfection.
