is it worth to replace a cable for my jh5pro?

i dunno if it's worth 300 bucks. anybody have done that before?

definitely not worth it, even if you do hold of cables making a difference.  I would be hesitant to even purchase one for the jh16.  As it is a portable headphone, (at least in my case) it chews through headphones (I've gotten new cables from jh's website 4 times over a year and a half.)  Even if the alo cable lasts longer, it's still liable to get messed up if you take it places.
