Hey all, 
I've been wanting to get my feet wet with some Sennheisers and recently came across some HD 595's for $80 on Craigslist. They are only 3 months old and have had light use. I've been looking for some HD 580's or HD 600's, but haven't had a lot of luck. Seems like these are a good entry into Senn's though, and for this price, I should have no problem reselling them and getting it back-- or so I think! What do you guys think? Good deal? Go for it? 
 
I've been mainly using Grado SR80's and Sony MDRV6's and have a Millet Hybrid and a DAC WoW.

I was actually looking for a pair of 595's... I'm using a pair of sr60i's right now, and I'm thinking about upgrading because they aren't the most comfy phones. I'd say you should go for the 595's if they can be had for $80.

$80 for HD 595 is pretty good. If you don't like em, you can always resell them and lose nothing.

That's what I figure. Perhaps they are a good transition from the grados anyway. Still wish that the guy offering $100 HD 580's here on the list would get back to me. That's a good deal for a great headphone. Doesn't look like he logs on here much and just hasn't been on to check his messages.

I did it. I like them so far, but will have to test them out at home to get a real impression. I'm sure that they are better than what I have and I'll at least have a good start on Senns.

The price at Amazon has jumped to $139. I know because I bought one at $129, and told a friend. And he just called and told me I was wrong. I still think it's a good deal.

Even if you don't like the 595s for $80, you'll easily get your money back. Good find.
