on what planet?

CD Players used to go only like 2 hours per set of batteries. 10 hours is NICE these days.

Yes, and album art doesn't work on mp3s > 4MB, and not at all on FLACs, and the music database software was put together by molluscs, and there's no physical 'hold' switch, and it doesn't read OGG tags, and the photo viewer is rubbish, and it's unstable, and the touchscreen isn't great etc etc.... but apparently it sounds like heaven. As long as the battery goes for longer than 4 or 5 hours I'm sold!

I give it a second try and ordered a 128GB SSD (not from the seller above, but the same product) for my H120. The SSD is currently on it's way. After the report of nickosiris I'm not too optimistic, but I will try at least.

Please hold your thumbs for me.

I find it very hard to believe that the s:flo2 betters an H120/140/xxx - D10 combo! I found my ipod G5 (lineout to different portable amps) quite decent but only until I heard and definitely switched to the Iriver H120 (H180 that is). And with an optically linked ibasso D10 it plays in a league normally reserved to stationary rigs. It is topped only by the combination of the H180 with the DAC of the Cambridge Audio 840 C

. This use is the main reason why I'm looking for a disk larger than 80GB.

@chi2 Just in case, the SSD does not work

Where can I find a 80GB HDD for the H120? Or do you use a H140 (bigger housing)?

Of course I will keep you all updated on my SSD shipwreck.

It doesn't, when as you described it is used with its optical out which lets face it, is the reason why we all still go gaga for it.

You are only limited by the dac you choose to employ, and as the dac in the d10 is no slouch then you won't go far wrong.

@chi2 Thanks for the info. I still hope for the 128GB SSD. But just in case...then it will be the 80GB HDD.
