I am very close to pre-ordering the PM4, but I also bought the Delta v2 this year, and I am wondering, for Bob or anyone else who might have a clue:

Will the PM4 be a decent upgrade over the Delta V2?  The Delta is a 2 driver hybrid, whereas the PM4 is a 4 driver hybrid?  Even if it's only a 20% increase in sound quality, it would be worth it because I like the over-the-ear style of the PM4.   As the owner of a 6 driver CIEM, I would also infer that the PM4 would have a bigger soundstage than the Delta V2, since more drivers means more enveloping sound (bigger soundstage).

can anyone speak to this?  Coming from the Delta v2, would I just be wasting my money on the PM4?    At the moment the PM6 is more money than I want to spend, so I am not really considering that.

Honestly, I'd just probably buy it at the preorder price now and sell it here on Head-Fi if it wasn't quite what I was looking for (as I've done several times in the past with other products). And if you like the overear style and the Delta's sound but don't really need the higher fidelity, it's sounding like the recently announced Atlas-Delta could be what you're looking for.

Noticed that Bob and Co have re issued the Original Delta with a few tweaks....."Our original Delta was so immensely popular it was hard for us to resist re-releasing it for a limited production run. We did make a few tweaks such as adding 7 filters (same as Delta V-II), we also incorporated our 7mm titanium driver (again same as Delta V-II) all packed up in the compact original Delta shell. We have also included a limited run colour of Matt Silk Black."

I own delta v2 and gave ordered since August the pm4.

If it sounds as food as the delta and has a better soundstage we are good.

Just hope it arrives before my birthday. If not possible I hope ot arrives before the Brexit. After that Trinity will be paying a lot of tax and the iems will get very expensive.

So... I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on the bluetooth lanyard, but I can't seem to find any reviews of it yet (only reason why I didn't pre order). It may be that I simply suck at using google though, but if anyone who has it would be so kind as to speak out on the sound quality and compare it to a DAC or something that would be a great help.

Mine should be arriving this week, but hopefully you get the info you are looking for before then.

Not done too much listening yet, but running the lanyard off my LG G5 or my Android watch gives SQ that is pretty much the same as the sort you would expect from a wired connection on a decent 2016 mobile handset. The lanyard has plenty of power to drive the Vyrus, connection is solid and there doesn't feel like anything is massively missing in terms of detail or clarity. A purist could possibly spot the rougher edges compared to a decent DAC/DAP, but we are talking very small margins here - the sound is definitely audiophile grade.

Hope that helps - will try and get some proper thoughts up on here at some point in a review format but life keeps getting in the way at the moment! ;)

I concur with Jackpot77's observations.

My usage is with the Atlas original iem sourced via Fiio X7 & HTC One M8.
Both connect with ease, both offer sound comparable to wired option based on audio memory.

I have encountered the occasional dropouts in an external environment especially around electronic equipment, for example, traffic lights, when cycling through red, Amber, green etc. This may have more to do with the implementation of the BT within the X7 than the lanyard itself.
The cable length seems an appropriate size, offering a lightweight easy to navigate "necklace" which can be worn either on the front or for the more adventurous at the back.
If time permits I may expand further through a mini review in the future.

I appreciate the input, I was a bit worried that the SQ was going to be sub par with the unit only being priced at 50£. As with most of trinity's stuff though you seem to be getting your moneys worth in heaps on this one if what you guys are saying is correct. Not sure how the Delta II compares to the Atlas or the Vyrus, but I suspect I shouldn't have much of a problem running them off it then.

I'm using it with various mmcx iem's and I too feel it is comparable to wired.  If Bob makes a version 2 the only thing I would suggest is more volume steps.
