Phantom Air uses same driver as Vyrus and will have a similar sound signature. The user above posted a review

As for Hunter, prototypes have gone out and the sound signature is being tweaked and now has 12 filters to tune to your liking.

Try the phantom thread and read maybe along the last 10 pages esp @Brooko he helped with prototype tuning

Bad news guys. The glue that keeps the strain relief (and by extension, the cable) in place on the left shell of my Hyperion has let go. I don't think it's going to be in use for much longer. Good thing I've got an order for the Hunter and have backed the Air already. I'll just need to switch to some other IEMs for a short while if these die.

Why not just put a dab of glue to replace the glue that's letting go?  A lot of people had to do that w/ the VSonic GR07s because their glue was weak too...lasted me years after dropping a bit of super glue in there myself.

That is most certainly under consideration and came to mind after I posted haha. I think I've got some superglue at home. Just gotta be careful cuz I don't wanna mess up how good these look!

Ok, so after like a month since I've ordered the bluetooth lanyard, I've finally received both of mine, one two pin and an mmcx version. Keep in mind that these are mostly just initial impressions, as I've really only had these for an hour or so. I will only review the MMCX version, as I'm assuming the two pin version is pretty much the same, only with different connectors.

Firstly, I don't have much to say about sound quality other than it's just good. I'm nothing more than an audio enthusiast, I appreciate a good pair of IEMs and accesories. I don't notice too much of a difference between having my SE215's plugged into my phone, an Xperia Z1 w/ Viper4Android, and listening through bluetooth. I'm not great at describing sound, so I will leave it at that. I also don't notice any delay, apt-x is great for that, I don't buy anything that doesn't support apt-x technology because of the minimal delay. These are all good things.

However, the main issues for me come down to the build. These issues may just be issues for me, as I tend to be overly concerned sometimes, but they are sure to bother someone else as well. The length is too long, the battery module does not stay behind my neck, as there is too much leeway for the cable, so it ends up hanging down my back. There is excess cable that kind of hangs around the sides of your head, so it isn't exactly uncomfortable, but more of a nuisance, and sometimes if I have one earphone in and the other hanging, the lanyard will get pulled along with the weight of the one hanging down. Some of these issues can be remedied by wearing the lanyard with the battery module out front,  but then you wouldn't be able to take out both earbuds and let them hang unless you throw them over your shoulders or place the lanyard back behind your neck.

The cable itself is rather thin, almost flimsy feeling, and I expected something a little bit better for what I paid. I don't have much to say about battery life at the moment, but I am used to bluetooth adapters with >8 hours of battery life, and I think that with how light the lanyard is already, it could use a little bit more juice. Lastly, there are too many buttons. The call and skip track buttons should have been long press actions assigned to the play/pause and volume buttons instead, this could be seen as either a pro or a con depending on the person, but for me, it is a con.

So, in summary:

Pros:
- Pretty simple to set up
- Sound quality is great, better than bluetooth adapters that I have used in the past
- Minimal delay, if there is any. I can watch videos without audio lagging behind, I don't really notice any.
- More affordable alternative to the Westone counterpart, likely better quality than the Poyatu/Chinese brand one (Not too sure, as Trinity's is the only bluetooth lanyard that I've actually tried).

Cons:
- Cable is too long! (can be adjusted upon request, just give special instructions during checkout. Maybe include a way to adjust the length with a clip of some sort)?
- Battery life is not bad, but IMO could definitely be better. May or may not be a big deal for other people, but I'm used to using bluetooth adapters with >8 hours of play time.

I think that the trinity audio bluetooth lanyard is pretty good, but until Fiio releases their own lanyard, this is probably the best you can get without having to pay 2-3 times the price for a Westone one.

I agree the length is way too long( I am short and this will hang down way too low.  I expected the length to allow to rest on your neck or a little lower).  I asked if I could see about getting shortened but they shipped it already.

I can't imagine the turn around to get this fixed.

I may have to return it for this reason and rebuy asking for it to be shortened.

Haha yeah, I'm a pretty short guy, too, hangs all the way down to my abdomen! I considered returning it too, but I don't really want to go through the hassle and possibly have to wait another month just doing so... I might try using a twist tie or a zip tie or something in order to shorten it a little, until I find a more elegant way to do it.

I considered that but I feel the cables are too thin.

Just not sure what to do. Wish I had the Master 4 to make sure it worked well.

I'm such a sucker for Trinity headphones.  I've had the Delta, the Vyrus, the Sabre and the Atlas (current favorite of the bunch), and I went and ordered the Master 4.  Didn't want to miss out on the promo price/discount so had to get the order in before they start shipping.  So we'll see how they compare!
