Sorry Guys, This tread is getting a bit boring. For me the Delta's offer a fantastic sq without the need of sticking pins into the filters. People just want a great build and sound without the modding,

The Delta has brought that to the table in spades in my opinion, but it won't stop people from trying mods. That's just the nature of the community. And as far as sticking pins in the filters go, that's simply to make sure they don't have any blockage to ensure the sound is coming out the way Bob intended it to. But sticking toothpicks into the rear vent and putting a teabag filter on the nozzle is definitely modding. For the record though, I'm totally one of the people like you that buy an IEM and keep it if it sounds right to me and sell if it's not quite what I want. No hassle, no testing mods, nothing of any sort other than put them in and sit back. Not everyone's like that though, so just let them fiddle to their heart's content. Like @ozkan for example

Mine was due to a manufacturing issue.  I was clearing the side vent because it was supposed to be clear.  Believe me, the sound I got wasn't "great".  I could have asked for replacements but it was a simple fix.

PS - And reaching out to Bob on this forum allowed me to fix the issue in about five minutes flat as well as inform others that may have been dealing with the same problem.

Yes. But keep in mind you get the BEST sound quality from using only Tea Bags woven by Mandarin Silkworms in August of 1987 along the gravitational leylines of the Earth.

oriented strands are optional.
