AMEN! This needs to be addressed.@Audeze Is there any possibility of you guys implementing a more user-friendly pads installation? Using magnets or something like Focal.

We plan to release some other products this year (not LCD-R). Stay tuned.Any chance of another ribbon headphone? 67 isn’t a lot. Feels bad to miss out.
In the LCD series (and in general Planars), the seal is very important. We have used other methods on newer headphones like Mobius/Penrose/LCD1 etc. But the seal we get with PSAs is still the best option for consistency, as we measure thousands of these headphones.AMEN! This needs to be addressed.

Thanks for clearing that up. Hope you guys can find something a more user-friendly mechanism that provide as much seal in the future. In the LCD series (and in general Planars), the seal is very important. The criticism on communications is constructive and we accept it. It is a little bit of a dilemma for us as well, as we plan small releases like this compared to bigger launches.I am truly mystified by this limited release. And what I gather from your responds is that this could be a one off kind a thing. Don’t wanna seem antagonizing, and yes I am critical of your way of doing your communication. Truth be told, I am a bit sad I didn’t get one myself - especially as it seems it finally was a headphone prized right - judging from currowongs impressions. Also if you decide to release more limited drops of this product. I hope you could factor in us non-Americans and make it more accessible to us as well. Lastly, I find it fascinating that a mere hoppy-project as you say ends up sounding better and more pleasing then all your other headphones and furthermore is cheaper as well them many of your products - again judging by what the reviewers said about the lcd-r. Sad there’s only 67 pairs…

If it’s not LCD-R…is there something in the pipe that uses the driver tech? You can tell me…I won’t tell anyone! We plan to release some other products this year (not LCD-R). Stay tuned.
Yes. We were surprised as well.when I noticed the entire batch of 67 was already sold out!
Something even more radical .If it’s not LCD-R…is there something in the pipe that uses the driver tech? You can tell me…I won’t tell anyone!

Audeze Electrostat incoming?Something even more radical .
Where can I sign up for this?Audeze Electrostat incoming?
An electrostat with thick meaty Audeze bass and with Stax-like speed and transparency would be something pretty radical.
I have no idea how you can say this. There are numerous other planar manufacturers who don't have or need to use glued-on earpads and their bass still measures flat down to 20HZ. Also, your company recently changed the earpad mounting system on your LCD 4 line to ALLOW more air flow and prevent drivers from blowing out when putting the headphones on and off or pushing in on the earcups while wearing them.In the LCD series (and in general Planars), the seal is very important. We have used other methods on newer headphones like Mobius/Penrose/LCD1 etc. But the seal we get with PSAs is still the best option for consistency, as we measure thousands of these headphones.
Well the upside of these is, that you can't spend more on amplification, it basically needs the Jotunheim A.I almost bought one of these even though they are 2.5x what I've spent on any one headphone previously but of course I was too late.... which is probably good for me in the end, lol.... I'm excited for everything Audeze has planned for release this year.
I probably would be all in on thatAudeze Electrostat incoming?

Headphones that don’t live in the personal audio space? Doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe they are breaking into a new product space?A very interesting and related article I just came across. Seems like @Audeze is not bluffing. It appears they have some exciting products in the proofer.
