If anyone wants to start an owners list, I believe mine are #40 based on the serial number. Make sure it is known that #40 comes from a home of love and pure enjoyment. ♥♥♥
Even better, they just tune it better out of the box . I think the LCD-4, for example, is a very capable headphone, but you have to EQ the crap out of it to get it sounding right--even the reveal plugin doesn't help much.
Huh? I thought mine was #13, lol. I only took a quick glance at the card when I first got the LCDr's. Will need to check again. I remember the first two numbers being 13 followed by 0's.
Btw, I hope they do a wider release. If audeze can get same sound quality to work with universal amps, I think the lcd-5 moniker would be fitting. The tonality of these are really special, and worth the fazor ear pain!
edit: Mine is "13000." Not sure if that means mine is 00 or 13000! haha.

I have started using multiple EQs added on top of each other, depending on the music I'm listening to.
On the RME Adi 2 FS I have a 6 DB bass shelf starting at 125 hz, and a 5db increase at 4.7khz. I don't recall what Q setting I settled on.
I also use EQ APO as a software EQ on top of that. I have several different profiles for the LCD-R. Some are just extra bass boost, some have different mid and treble alterations.
I've found that I'm happy with minimal EQ changes with these headphones. I couldn't say the same about other Audeze headphones.
I ended up going with a bass shelf at 100hz via Roon's parametric EQ. I felt like 125hz bled a little bit into the mid bass, mids a bit too much for me.
I am really happy that increase in sub bass. It really brings back that audeze bass and works a lot better than the built-in Jot-A bass lever. Thanks for your recommendation on the bass shelf!
These headphones are pretty special. They love EQ, and I can imagine that they play very well with other amps.
