I'm not sure what to do with your eel script, but at least I can confirm that RootlessJamesDSP (and Shizuku) works on the M300...
You load it in the LiveProg module of RootlessJamesDSP :)

Thanks for the directions! Unfortunately, I was not able to make it work on the M300: as soon as I turn "Live programmable DSP" on with the DRX10K plugin script selected, in RootlessJamesDSP, the sound becomes very choppy (unlistenable). The other built-in scripts under LiveProg appear to work fine.

I've reprogrammed the DRX10K plugin on JamesDSP to try to make it work on the 192kHz sample rate of the M300, give this a try and let me know how it goes?

Just curous what does this plugin do that adjusting the impulse response slider in mseb doesnt do?
Well this plugin varies its processing in time to emphasize transients whereas the impulse response slider is a fixed adjustment to a wide band of frequencies that *may* increase a sense of sharpness in attacks.

Interesting, so it pushes up low volume transients such that it seems like everything has added decay and compressed? Just curous since Ive been playing around with the dynamics slider but I cant seem to get better contrast and it feels quite compressed as compared to the DSP off.

That's like the opposite of what should be happening
(Did you dial the dynamics to negative or something)
What are your settings in the plugin

Is it the systemwide plugin or the hiby app plugin
Either you have dynamics on negative, or
It sounds like you are driving the plugin into clipping, and need to dial Gain further to the left (negative)

Sorry for the delay didn't have access to my r6pro2. Currently running high gain class A to fiio FD7. You are right in that it was clipping but I would need to mess around with it more as it sounds off in that everything now sounds like it has added decay(or maybe that's the point since I see some people seem to like more decay as grander) and general softening of the transients.

Thanks for making this plugin and taking the time to reply.

I would consider to lower the amount of Mids dynamics, (to my ears the plugin does not deal well with large amounts of mids boost. If you are looking to equalize your music, use the EQ first.)

Also, as the plugin cannot go louder than the unprocessed sound in HiByMusic without distortion (at least for music normalized to 0dB peaks), it may be hard to compare the effect of the plugin in quick switching.

Ok Ive tweeked it to where it sounds good. There is a nice increase of slam and no more decay. Seems that the very act of enabling the plugin will smooth out the attack tip though when everything is set to 0 along with some top end smearing, guess it cant be helpped.

Where I have found thet your plugin is exceptional is in it's ability to accept increased bass dynamics as a whole. Also using and personalising Bass, mids, and treble together, it's like having a totally different DAP. Personally I prefer using your plugin which is much easier than faffing around with equalisation.

What sample rate music are you listening to?
