Please what cards, what formatting and what exact software are you using?

Can you maybe try with a freshly formatted card?

Used a silicon power 1TB superior and a samsung 1TB pro plus, and a samsung 512gb evo select, all formatted with exfat with 128kb, 256kb, and 512kb block sizes. All of the above exhibited the issue. I am currently using the silicon power formatted to ntfs with 4096 block size, which seems to be much more reliable than exfat, though writes are still far slower than what I'm getting out of a card reader.

* When I pause a music app and open another music / media app, the music / media plays with breaks like the audio driver was occupied by previous app. If i close the previous app, the music or media plays without any issue.

* if possible, can you please put in the instructions to root the device

The music app must be closed before starting playback in a new one, for it to correctly run with our AGLO system for bit-perfect output.

Sorry, don't have any details on rooting.

Does the M8T have system wide PEQ? Or, if not, I'm assuming one can use UAPP for PEQ?

Rooting is pretty simple, tho try at your own risk.
update your DAP to latest build, copy and extract the zip somewhere, use a payload dumper to extract payload.bin and copy the init_boot.img to your phone.
Download and install Magisk app on phone (I used magisk alpha).
Patch the copied img file and copy it to PC.
Download latest platform tools, and update drivers in Pc so that it recognizes your DAP.

This DAP comes with unlocked boot loader by default, follow any guide on XDA to flash the init_boot.img

We have no system wide EQ, you would have to rely on EQ within the playback apps.

Certainly not a problem when I can download apps from the PlayStore. Looking forward to giving the M8T a try with the A8000. Put my M5 Ultra up for sale on the classifieds here if anyone is interested.

Hi, has anyone found a way to get Wavelet working with streaming apps on the M8T to use auto EQ? I saw some mentions of this earlier on in this thread and was wondering is anyone could help please. Got my M8T yesterday and loving it already. Just having a play. Many thanks!

Got my Sony MDR-Z1R, dream combo with M8T. Might be too warm/bassy for some but I love it.
