Yeah I think the multiple distinct sound signatures is a feature I didn't take particularly seriously when I read it in reviews - mainly because I didn't actually believe it would be meaningful to me.
But now that I have the M8T, I view this a a significant value and differentiator. I mainly listen to my Macbeths on Transistor Mode Medium Gain, but sometimes when I listen to more vocal-focused recordings, I wish to add just a bit more body and texture to the vocals. On most DAP's, this wouldn't be an option, and I'd just need to enjoy my IEMs as-is. With the M8T, I can switch to Triode mode and the vocals get exactly the the kind of boost I'm looking for. Pretty amazing tbh!
