So far two charges and no issues. Will continue to test/monitor! Also very excited, you guys resolved the public wifi login issue.
The line out is now locked in high gain mode. This causes an unlistenable crackling sound when using the DAP with an amp. Is there a way to override this? The way the LO worked before allowed me to adjust it to a low gain. HELP!

Line-Out is fixed line level voltage.
If your amplifier has issue with that, please use standard output and adjust volume to lower level.
Please what charging issue you faced?
The charging issue is the device being stuck with screen lit (red dial) and I have to soft reset to fix.

No. Check the Roon website for Roon ready DAPs. Several AK models, the Hiby RS8, and some Fiio DAPs.

Ok, thank you for feedback.
You can run Roon app on M8T and use it as end point that way. It will act the same was as any other Roon Ready device.
Only limitation is that Roon will be upsampling everything to 192 kHz, but that's limitation on the side of Roon Android app.

Received my unit 4 days ago.
It sounds amazing, this is my first Android DAP, coming from the M1S.
There are some annoying bugs which ruin the flagship experience.
Changing media source messes up the audio playback, example playing music on telegram and switching to YouTube video makes the audio freeze up every second. Like it keeps getting stuck and plays, have to restart to fix it.
Experienced the 2x playback many times, happens in a similar situation, while changing audio source app.
Booting into recovery mode results in black screen.. does it not have one? Fastboot work fine.
Can't change the default launcher, I know xiaomi uses a similar approach for gesture navigation (baked into the launcher) and it'll switch back to button navigation if you change launchers, that would be fine as well for the M8T.
Geatures are resulting accidental clicks on the screen when trying to close an app or minimizing the music player.
Can't find the app pinning option, that'd be very good addition.

Switching apps - Due to the way our AGLO system is built for bit-perfect output and locks onto the audio stream from the app, it can sometimes have issue when switching apps. It's best to stop playback, close the app and then only start the new playback.
Recovery Mode - We are aware of this issue and should have a new firmware this week fixing it.
Default launcher - locked by our software team, as they insist this is needed to keep the unique DAP settings functioning.
App Pinning - It was removed from the system due to issues with unpinning. We hope to add it back in the future.

The V1.25 was recalled, we will be releasing new update this week.
@Shanling I did a factory reset and now my M8T displays a black screen when I boot it up. I’m unable to get into recovery mode because that results in a black screen as well. Could you please assist?
For all M8T users, please do not update to Firmware V1.25!
If you already updated, DO NOT do factory reset, as it might cause issues with the system booting.
